Protect The Sanctity of the Family

I feel obligated to do my part in an effort to protect the traditional definition of marriage. Some of you who read this may not be Canadian, or care much about Canada, but you do care about families. You care about our world, and the steady downfall of our morals. Some of you are Canadian, and either care or don't care about the definition of marriage. But for those of you who feel strongly about maintaining the traditional definition of marriage, now is your time to do your part.
Next Week Prime Minister Paul Martin is going to introduce new Draft legislation into the house of commons, to change human rights in an effort to allow all homosexual and lesbian couples to be married, and recognized under the charter of rights.

This Bill consists of two parts, they are:
1. Allows the parliament to re-define marriage as something more than the union of one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others.
2. Allows Churches the right to refuse to perform any 'marriage' that is contrary to it's doctrines and beliefs.

The country that we live in has a form of democracy to it that allows us to voice our opinion freely, without fear of punishment. If you wish to standby and do nothing, because you think there will be no effect, then fine. However if you wish to put forth a slight effort. Set aside 2 hours, and $0.50, to tell our National Leaders what you think.

Take the time to write a letter, and there are a few ways to send it in.
1. Email - pm@pm.gc.ca
2. Fax - 613-941-6900
3. Mail - Office of Prime Minister

We need to avoid using argumentative words, or any sort of angry speech. To argue with the most grace and well-chosen words may be difficult, but will serve much more purpose.
Too often we stand by and complain at the matters that our government handles; too often we are afraid to stand our ground and apeak our mind.

DO YOUR PART, SPEAK UP AND BE HEARD!!!!

Well, now is our time to do something. Please, use one of these choices, and open your voice, speak up. Young or old, this is our world, and our country, this lack of morals will spread as countries take the stand that this is a Human Rights issue, then they will follow suit. Let's stop it in it's tracks. Call your local MP, write a letter to the editor, send your friends and family this address so they can write in, spread the word. We won't sit back and let our government impose such morals on our society.
